Hello everyone,
Its really just over one week till the wedding and the excitement (and stress level) is really building. For those who have not seen us, Dave has been taken down with a strange eye infection (although hanby to have a close friend who is an eye specialist!) So has been off work going mad at home not being able to see. Improvements are being made and we hope that by the big day he will be mostly recovered.
In other news Quinny was thought to be complete and ready to put back on the road and then decided she needed a new brake master cyclinder. This part was initially very hard to source but this has now been found (well done stu) and fitted. Although Dave could fit the part half blind, someone now needs to test drive her and I'm not sure it should be me!
In other news my dress is now back from alterations and is lovely. Ma is finishing up the bridesmaids and then its down to little bits like namecards etc. For those who don't know, Vicky had a little boy called Jack John Liam Conway, 9lb 4 I believe. He is very cute and very content when I saw him.
As for arrangements for this marvel, friday I will be staying at the hotel and will try and be in the bar from 9pm to say hello to people and have a drink or two. Saturday I think is pretty well organised and on Sunday we intend to have breakfast with everyone and then open some presents (assuming we get some) before probably heading off for lunch somewhere. We will have to go home and pack at some point as well! We leave for las vegas monday morning.
Love to all and see you soon

Hello everyone,
So I realise it has been forever since I last put an entry and I find myself bored on the train to London again so here we go. Something like 25 days to go and all is well.
Dress is being altered, final fit on the 20th.
Suits are measured and in the capable hands of Moss Bros employee Lydia.
Quinny is all back together having had Dave strip her to her very core, but unfortunatly still poorly. We have got the parts that will fix the problem though hopefully.
Flowers are ordered Wine and food all agreed and mostly paid for.
Cheese (which had been forgotten temporarily) is ordered
And Bridesmaids dresses are looking fabulous.
However we still have one bridesmaid heavily pregnant. Vicky was due on Friday but as yet is still lumping a bump around. Hopefully (especially Vicky) we will see some progress today!
What's left I hear you cry! We still have stationary items to make, cheques to write. There is still an open issue as to our first dance song, its very hard after 11 years to pick one song! And we need to choose a playlist for the band. We also still need to book somewhere to stay in San Francisco. Any recommendations welcome.
So yes all in all a few things to do but all in hand. We are both getting excited now. However just for now I am more excited by baby Conway coming into the world!

For those who don't know there will be a very special person not attending our wedding in 25 days time. My Gran passed away on the 15th April.
She was to me a very special person and her passing will have a big impact on our big day so requires comment here. She is the second person to die since we got engaged. But unlike Jan who was taken too early, Gran had an amazingly long life for all her aiments.
For anyone who met Gran you would remember her, she always spoke her mind and was always right. A bit like me really! I will miss her terribly on the day and will probably shed more than a few tears for those that cannot be with us. However there is a part of me that says if she had made it to the big day it would not have been fair on my grandfather, great aunts and all the others whowill not be attending.
I do now however that she loved my dress ( I sent her a picture) and she was very happy that Dave and I had finally managed to get round to getting married. She would be devasted that I am not having carnations as my wedding flowers, but we are having roses which were her second favourite.
I think if she was coming to the day her first reaction would be to cry and miss my grandad, her second would be to apologise to Dave for an incident years ago which she apologied about 200 times for before she died, and her third would be to say "I'm so proud of you" about 100 times thorughout the day.
I will miss her alot as I know the rest of my family will. But she had an exceptionally good run and we can all only hope to be so lucky.
