Hello all,

Another quick post to say that this weekend we went to collect our wedding rings.  Mine is apparently beautiful but I haven't been able to see it.  I choose a very plain platinum band, but apparently Dave has had something done to it, so I have tried it on (with my eyes shut obviously) but will not see it till the day.

Dave's has been made specially, a nut design.  Below is a link to see a picture if you are interested. It comes in at a hefty 27g of Platinum!  But is very shiney which was the point :)

Well done ma :)

So we are 16 or so weeks away from the wedding and the level of activity surrounding the wedding is increasing at pace.  Plus after a lot of internal debate in my head we have an additional bridesmaid.

Kate Bush (nee O'hare) will be putting in a stunning performance as my third adult bridesmaid.  Kate is a late arrival to the party a I thought it was a bit greedy to have 3 flower girls and 3 adult bridesmaids.  But I have made the decision she is an amazingly good friend and I want her to be involved and wonderfully she is very excited about the idea :)

And the Bridal suite.  Well the world just gets wierder and wierder.  I am currently in a hotel near Chester.  When I have to go away I generally pick the hotel and then my company book me a room.  I have stayed in this particular hotel before and it is all very nice, but this time I arrived last night and checked in and there was a lot of whispers behind the counter.  The receptionist then said "well, your in the bridal suite".  I thought she was kidding but no, here I am in a giant suite with mezzanine slleping deck, huge TV and rainfall shower.  And all for £61!!!!!  You got to love life sometimes.

In other news, my mum is busy making bridesmaids dresses, (with a small amunt of help from me!) and things like the favours are being purchased.  RSVP's flooded in at first but have dried up slightly.  If you haven't sent your back yet, please do.

Ours rings should be ready today so we will have to go to Bristol to collect them soon.  My dress has been collected and is waiting to go for fittings, and really everything is moving along well :)

Love to all and see you all soon.

Hi everyone,
Seems like a long time since I left the last entry.  Things are moving forward as ever.

The first wave of invites has gone out, if you haven't recieved one yet, don't worry it'll be in the post.

Honeymoon investigations continue, we have booked the hotel for Las Vegas (MGM Grand) and are now looking at a really rustic but beautiful place in the Grand Canyon.  Still need to book a car, but the debate still rages as to wheather we will have a 4x4 (Ceri's choice) or a drop top Mustang (Dave's choice)

Anne (Dave's aunt) has visited and the cake has been discussed.  A multi-layer multipattern nut design has been agreed.  Massive thanks to Anne for offering to do this for us.  And massive amounts of praise for her keeping her cool while Dave came out with all sorts of mad ideas for cake designs!

I suppose the biggest bit of news is that my DRESS HAS ARRIVED!!!!! Yes 2 months early!!!!!! and I have been, tried it on and it is currently under armed guard at my parents house.  The shop would not store it till the day so I have had to pay for it, collect it and take it away and then 6weeks before the wedding I will take it back to have alterations and have it fitted.  Very odd to finally collect it, its the most expensive dress I think I will ever buy!  Need to find shoes and for those who don't know me, I HATE shoes.  and to be fair, they hate me.  2 pairs in my 27 years have not cut my feet, all the rest, well lets just say....Ba+s%ards

I have started buying all the little decordations and such lately.  Went to the Confetti store in London last week and brought some gifts for people and some things to put on the tables.  And progress is being made in collecting up the favours which is good.

RSVP's from people who have recieved their invites are starting to come in so that is exciting, we have 15 confirmed guests so far, hopefully some more will come in!  Unfortunatly some people are unable to attend but we completley understand, it is only one day and for some with travel and everything else it is just too much.

Well Love to all and see you all soon

A little final note - a good friend received some scary news the other day which made me think a lot of Jan.  I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish her and her family all the best and to keep the spirits high and remind all the ladies reading to be familiar with http://hosted.aware.easynet.co.uk/info/bse.htm
